The first part of the comprehensive and renowned Method For Cello by nineteenth century composer, educator and celebrated cellist Alfredo Piatti. An extremely popular tutor, Piatti takes the student through the early stages of playing technique – such as the open strings, first position and bowings – up to exercises in the fifth, sixth and seventh positions (in the Tenor Clef).
